But colour is back!!!

On a more somber note, I learned today that one of my longtime heroes, Bruce Chatwin, was not only a closet fantasist when composing his exquisite "travelogues", but also "allegedly" died of "AIDS" due to his denied "bisexuality". How sad that even till the end of his life, he refused to acknowledge his disease, choosing instead to say he had been bitten by a Chinese vampire bat.

Also, apparently he follows in the curmudgeonly footsteps of many a literary jerk in that he was highly condescending, parasitic, and beastly toward his friends and family.

The things one learns in one's late '20s...
