travels theta: Lingyin Temple

It was already dark when we took this with the digital miracle.

Following four at Lingyin Temple. Clockwise from top left: Avalokiteshvara (Guanyin), Guanyin, Puxian and Wenshu (Manjusri), small arhats carved besides "Crazy Monk Jidian's Stone Bed" in the Flying Peak Grotto, various arhats inside the Flying Peak Grotto. And the mosquitoes in there, though invisible to the artificial eye, were vicious. I'll quite literally be scarred for life.

And yes, that bed became really shiny in exactly this way, as captured by a Korean tourist.
